Twenty years of experience in brand management and marketing in the global market. Having worked in both US and Asian offices at global companies including Coca Cola Japan (Vice President), Fila Japan (Japan Representative), and American Express Inc. (Director), areas of expertise include new market entry, product development, and brand management. As a global project leader, brought together and successfully led teams in both North America and Asia. Has worked with a wide range of merchandise, including general consumer goods (health and beauty, food products), finance, sports apparel, fashion, and more.

Spearheaded efforts to improve sales in the mid-to-long term, and led the establishment of new product lines and business models, as well as the expansion of digital marketing and distribution channels.
– Brought many projects from the strategic planning stage all the way through successful completion, making use of research data, online data, etc.
– Opened new channels, used digital marketing in introducing Glaceau Vitamin Water to Japan, and established business models for the manufacture and distribution of chilled products

– Created website strategy (“My Amex.” etc.), expanded personalization services and eliminated unprofitable functions, as web business director.
– Increased web traffic and reduced overall costs by optimizing the americanexpress.com website.
– Spent one year and a budget of 6 million USD, to create a CLTV model, applicable to all American Express services.
– Led the planning and introduction of gift cards into North America, as well as the test introduction into Japan and the UK, as Director of gift business (checks, credit cards).
– Catalyzed a thorough reform of business models and existing systems in order to establish sales channels and products for the company’s first retail stores.
– Stimulated the gift card business’s growth to a business with 10 billion USD (800 billion JPY) in annual sales in the three years following its introduction into North America,
